I can now say that I have officially seen a man with an engagement ring!

After my previous post I have been keeping my eyes open to find a man wearing an engagement ring and I have now seen one. Despite encountering a few jokes on his behalf at people who cannot be counted as TRUE friends, his engagement ring has been well received by his family and REAL friends. For this I am pleased as I had feared that the meaning behind the entire gesture could be lost.

Now the man in question wears his engagement ring with his wedding ring as a woman would wear her engagement ring with her wedding ring.

It made me happy to see this man so happy with his engagement ring, I hope that my previous blog post may help highlight the idea of men’s engagement rings and that more men may end up having an engagement ring of their own.
