Coronavirus Update 22.09.20

Coronavirus update 22.09.20 I was hoping that the next update I’d have to make would be that the restrictions were easing and we could start to get back to ‘normal’. But that’s not the case. I know a lot of decisions will be up in the air at the moment until venues, registrars and churches can be contacted but, as I asked earlier on this year, if you’re considering postponing your wedding please get in touch to find out my availability before 100% confirming a new date. There’s nothing more than I’d love after all this time of not photographing weddings is to still be able to be there for all of you whenever it is that you end up getting married. Sending lots of love to all the brides and grooms who’ve been disappointed today, and lots of love to all my fellow wedding suppliers. #whataboutweddings

Back to Work!

Yesterday I was thrilled to be able to pick up my camera and photograph one of my lovely couples who are due to get married (fingers crossed!) at the end of November! It was a slightly different way of working but it was good to be back behind the camera again and do something ‘normal’ even though we’re still not in ‘normal’ times. Thank you Wortley Hall Sheffield for letting us use your beautiful grounds. Sneak peeks coming soon!

Happy 4th July!

Good luck to all the local businesses who can open their doors again tomorrow, it’s been a long time coming and fingers crossed it’s the start of things getting back to normal! With the guidelines being updated from tomorrow this also means that the way I’m currently running appointments is changing. From tomorrow it will be permitted to meet inside another person’s household providing social distancing measures are in place and no more than two households meet at the same time. So I now have the option of coming into your home to conduct an appointment (although I will still be recommending garden appointments wherever possible, weather depending), and I may be able to begin meeting you at your venue. If you’d prefer to meet at your venue I will confirm with them first that this is ok and abide by any rules they have in place. Stay safe and have a great weekend!

Today I took some photos!

So, today I dusted off my camera, grabbed my kids and took advantage of hay-baling day! We were only out about ten minutes because even at 4pm it was super hot. But it was good to be back behind the camera again. Get in touch if you want some socially distanced outdoor photographs taking of your children or family!
